Parkrun Practice

Wooda Surgery is pleased to announce we are a “Parkrun Practice”! This means that as a practice, we promote the local Parkrun for both patients and staff to encourage people to get more active. This scheme is endorsed by the Royal College of General Practice.

What is Parkrun?

Parkrun is a weekly 5km run (or walk) that takes place at 9am on Saturdays in Victoria Park in Bideford. It’s free to take part, and people of any ability are encouraged to join in. You can even just come and watch if you want to! Participants are encouraged to register via the web site so they can keep track of their times. It really is a fun way to get out and about and active!
