Updated Mask Policy – June 2022
Here is a summary of the recently updated COVID mask policy for healthcare settings, including the Wooda Surgery, as of June 2022:
- Patients are no longer required to wear a face covering (but are welcome to wear one as a personal preference)
- Patients who attend with respiratory symptoms should wear a mask or face covering if tolerated
- Healthcare staff will continue to wear masks where there is a risk of COVID-19 transmission or the patient is vulnerable / has reduced immunity
- Healthcare staff will also put on a mask if the patient makes a reasonable request for them to do so
- We will continue to use our one way system in the surgery to help patients flow through the practice and reduce disease transmission
