If you are not taking any medication that is still on your repeat list, please let the surgery know.

It is a good idea to discuss any problems that you are having with your medication with your doctor. Particularly if you are having side effects – in most cases it will be possible to prescribe an alternative.

Please remember that any medication you order and then have to return to the pharmacy cannot be reused even if it is unopened.

MEDICATION

In an attempt to reduce the overall cost of prescribing drugs, the practice is supporting the initiative of prescribing drugs by the compound (generic) name rather than by brand. This will mean on some occasions the prescription you receive may be packaged differently though the drug will be the same. If you have any queries about this, please seek advice about your medication either from your local pharmacist or the surgery.
