About The Wooda

The Wooda Surgery is a group practice offering a wide range of medical and nursing services. The team also includes district nurses, midwives and health visitors on attachment from the local trusts.

The surgery is purpose built and there is a pharmacy (leased to Lloyds Chemist) on site. We are accessible to patients with disabilities, including automatic doors at the entrance with level access. We welcome any feedback as to how we can improve our premises for patients with disabilities.

We welcome new patients living within our practice area (for details contact reception on 01237 471071).

We really value our patients’ feedback on all aspects of the services we offer. We would particularly like to hear from you if you use the surgery regularly or if you have a long term health condition, are a parent of a young family, have a mental health condition or are over the age of 75.

There are parking facilities for patients on site but these are limited and we would ask for your co-operation in parking within the areas marked out. Please be aware that parking is prohibited in Ethelwynne Brown Close and this is monitored by the local council. There is a large public car park adjacent to the surgery on Barnstaple St.
