|The Receptionists are here to signpost patients to the most appropriate service within Primary Care. There are now many clinicians within the primary care workforce so understanding the patient need is pivotal to ensuring the most appropriate clinician/route. In order to do this, the Receptionist will need to understand the basic reason for the contact and will ask some key questions to ascertain this. |
The Reception team also keep medical records in order, manage clinical correspondence and administer the prescription process. Their job is incredibly demanding so please be kind.
